How to draw Superman
It's a bird, it's an airplane, it is - Superman!
In today's tutorial I will show you how to draw one of the most beloved and famous super heroes in the history of mankind!
Created in 1932 by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, Superman was sold to one of the largest and most popular comic book publishers - DC Comics.
In 1938, Superman appeared on the pages of the pilot issue of the magazine Action Comics ¹ 1, as well as on the radio and television.
Superman is one of my favorite characters and I thought it was a good idea to create a drawing tutorial on this topic.
As you know, throughout his life, Superman several times changed his appearance. But I decided to stay at the modern appearance.
That is how we see him in cartoons nowadays. It may seem difficult to draw Superman, but only at the first glance.
You can easily cope with this problem if you having this drawing before our eyes tutorial and if you have a little patience!
All right, let's get started! And remember - the more muscle the better!

How to draw superman - Step 1
Let's start with simple lines: the circle for the head and for the jaw shape.

Now we move on to the muscular body. Draw the shape of a broad-shouldered torso (something resembling a smile) and a form for the lower body.

Here we add a line defining the legs and part of the cape. After that depict a wide neck and hair.

Now in detail draw out feet and draw the shape of the right hand.

That's already the middle of our tutorial. Now we will draw part of the muscular left arm of the superman.

Draw out right hand and move on to the form of the palm of his left hand(which looks like a boxing glove).

Add charming eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth and a hole in his chin, as well as lines of the muscles in the neck and chest.

Almost done. Draw famous diamond shape on his massive chest. Add a line on the cape and black pants.
