How to draw cartoon characters
We have already learned the basic techniques of drawing cartoon characters, and now we will improve our skills by drawing a nice cartton girl.
Lines and Circles
We begin to draw uur beautiful cartoon girl with simple shapes.
We put an oval in place of the girl's head and several guide lines, to mark her neck. Add a curved rectangle-torso, long lines-legs and ovals-feet.
Now we'll make a fashionable hairstyle and stylish clothes
Our cartoon girl is diligent and she has beautiful long hair. Let's draw the hair.
Now we'll add a funny rectangle on her head, thus expressing the general slope. Draw her graceful lines-hands.
Now add the sleeves on her shirt, denote the edge of her breeches. Add some curved lines of her hair. Draw out small rectangle on the top.
Then add such a funnny twirl on the rectangle. Draw fingers from inside of her palms and add shoes to our fashionista. Several slips on the shoes also would not hurt.
Drawing cartoon character's eyes
Thus, the silhouette of our beautiful cartoon girl is already denoted. It's time to reveal the face.
Light dotted line across the face will help us more accurately position all the necessary elements. So: ovals for the eyes and the mouth, curved triangle - for the nose.
And do not forget the eyebrows and the eyelashes! Our cartoon girl has to be the best!
The last touches
Less than 10 minutes past and we have drawn the cartoon girl.
Not experienced achievement, is not it? Well, you just have to add some stylish stuff and she can safely go for a walk in her cartoon world.
Add a pair of arcs on her right wrist to create a bracelet. Several more lines - and she has a hanging bag on her left shoulder.
Touch-sleeve shirt and boots, add a stylish oval on the front of the shirt.
Erase the remaining irregularities, take the crayons, put the make-up and quietly let our new cartoon character go for a walk!
